Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) sets the rules everyone who uses ToRecruit must follow. It is part of our Terms of Service. The AUP protects Candidates against misuse of their data and keeps the Service safe and fair for Companies.
Rules for everyone
- Be honest. Your profile, your company page and your messages must accurately describe reality. Impersonation, fake identities and fake companies are forbidden.
- Follow the law. You must not use the Service to break the law in any country involved (yours, the other party's or Ukraine).
- Respect privacy. Use personal data only for the purpose for which it was disclosed to you.
- No harassment, hate speech, threats or discriminatory conduct toward any user.
- No malware, brute-force attacks, scraping, unauthorised automation, bulk downloading or probing of the Service.
- No attempts to reverse-engineer the platform or to bypass paywalls, rate limits or security controls.
Rules for Candidates
- Only upload content you own or have the right to use. This includes CVs, photos, certificates and portfolio assets.
- Do not publish the personal data of other people (for example, a reference's phone number) without their consent.
- Keep your information current. If your contact details change, update them so that Companies receive correct data.
- Do not use ToRecruit to advertise services unrelated to your own job search.
Rules for Companies
- Use Candidate data only to evaluate and contact the Candidate about a real, open role in your organisation.
- Do not resell, redistribute, publish or transfer Candidate data to any third party, including affiliates outside the hiring team, without a separate written agreement with us.
- Do not add Candidates to marketing lists, newsletters or automated outreach not related to the specific hiring opportunity.
- Do not use Candidate data for background checks, credit scoring, immigration-status checks or surveillance unrelated to hiring.
- Do not discriminate on the basis of age, sex, gender identity, race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, political opinion or any other protected characteristic. Hiring decisions must be based on job-relevant criteria.
- Delete or anonymise Candidate data once your hiring process has ended, unless you have a specific legal basis to keep it longer, and honour data-subject requests forwarded by us.
Enforcement
We can investigate any suspected breach. If we conclude that a user has violated this AUP we may remove content, suspend or terminate the account, refuse a refund, disclose relevant information to authorities, and pursue legal remedies.
