Cookie Policy

Last updated: 2026-04-17

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies ToRecruit uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device when you visit it. Cookies let the site remember your actions and preferences (for example, whether you are logged in, which language you prefer) and collect usage information.

We also use similar technologies such as local storage and pixels. For simplicity, we refer to all of them as "cookies" in this policy.

Categories of cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies. Required for the Service to work: authentication cookie (stores the session token after you sign in, in an httpOnly, Secure cookie), CSRF-protection token, locale preference, cookie-consent choice. Without them the Service cannot be delivered, so they do not require your consent.

Functional cookies. Remember your preferences, such as the theme (dark or light) or recently used filters. We set these only if you accept cookies.

Analytics cookies. Help us understand how users interact with the Service so we can improve it (for example, which onboarding step drops off). We only set analytics cookies after you accept the cookie banner. We do not share analytics data with advertising networks.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies at this time. If this changes, we will update this Policy and ask for your consent again.

Your choices

When you first open the Service we show a cookie banner. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are always set, because the Service cannot work without them.

You can change your decision at any time by clearing the consent from your browser or by re-opening the cookie banner (available from the footer link).

You can also block or delete cookies directly from your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break sign-in and other core features.

Google sign-in and third-party cookies

If you sign in with Google, Google may set its own cookies on your device. Those cookies are governed by Google's privacy notice, not by ours.

Our payment processor may set strictly necessary cookies on the checkout page to prevent fraud. Those cookies are only set when you open a payment flow.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove cookies. The "Last updated" date shows when the current version took effect.
